If the holes are too big, use a chemical-free germinating paper towel to prevent the seeds from falling through. 4. Spray the seeds with water, cover them lightly with a piece of germinating paper, and spray again. Wait for the seeds to germinate, which can take 2-5 days. Remember to spray the paper 1-2 times a day and keep the seeds out of direct sunlight. 5. Once the shoots reach 0.79"-1.18" in length, remove the paper. Add water to the bottom tray when the root buds pierce the planting plate, but avoid direct contact with the seeds to prevent decay.
